Latin jazz star Arturo Sandoval will be in Ann Arbor Friday (Nov. 2) signing copies of his new DVD, “Arturo Sandoval Live,” which he filmed at this year’s Ann Arbor Summer Festival. Rock ’n’ roll couch potatoes can hunker down for “Amazing Journey: The Story of the Who,” a new authorized documentary that premiers at 9 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 3) on VH1. The two-hour film includes plenty of rare footage and new interviews with band principals Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey, along with fans such as Sting, Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder and U2 guitarist Dave Evans “The Edge.” “Amazing Journey” is also available as a two-disc DVD featuring even more material.
