Though the COVID-19 pandemic has scotched its annual tour for the first time since 1999, Trans-Siberian Orchestra is making sure the show goes on. The orchestral rock troupe has recorded a performance of "Christmas Eve and Other Stories Live in Concert," as well as some other favorites, that streams at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18. Its trademark "bells and whistles" are promised (sans pyro, however). Tickets are $30 with bundled packages also available via tsolivestream.com.

COVID or not, Kissmas 2020 goes on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 18-19, with performances and other activities featuring former guitarist Bruce Kulick along with Rick Derringer, Enuff Z Nuff, Jean Beauvoir and others. Tickets via Kissmas2020.com.
