Pontiac's Crofoot Ballroom begins its drive-in concert series with performances by the Shinedown duo of Smith & Myers on Saturday, Oct. 17, and electronic artist Subtronics on Sunday, Oct. 18, both at 6 p.m. on the Crofoot Festival Grounds in the city's Lot #9 at the corner of Pike and Saginaw streets. The Michigan Opera Theatre, meanwhile, rolls out its production of "Twilight: Gods" — an adaptation of Richard Wagner's "Twilight of the God" from his "Ring Cycle" — into the Detroit Opera House Parking Center for performances at 3:50 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 17-18, and Tuesday, Oct. 20.
