Music will be seen as well as heard at a couple of photo exhibitions this weekend in the metro area.

While the Movement Electronic Music Festival was called off, twice, due to the pandemic, the Detroit Historical Museum opens "2000/2020: Celebrating 20 Years of the Electronic Music Festival in Detroit" starting Saturday, Sept. 26, and running through spring of 2021. The exhibit features images from two decades of the Memorial Day event at Hart Plaza from a variety of sources, including fans. The museum will host an opening day party with DJ John Collins spinning, as well as Lunchtime Techno guests throughout the run. Details at detroithistorical.org.

In Royal Oak, veteran photographer Thomas Weschler's "Rock & Roll Photo Show" will feature images from the Grande Ballroom, his time working with Bob Seger and more, from 4-10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 at Edo Ramen, 4313 W. 13 Mile Road. Photos will be for sale as well.
