Canterbury Village comedy show raising money for WDET

A half-dozen local comedians will stand up for a good cause this week.

"What's So Funny About Detroit," taking place 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, at the Canterbury Village Drive-In in Lake Orion. The event will raise money for Detroit public radio station WDET, which is facing a membership and donation shortfall during the Covid-19 pandemic.

WDET's Ryan Patrick Hooper will host the show, which will feature Josh Adams, Genivive Clinton, Pat Sievert, Roni Shanell, Wes Ward and Zech. Admission is $35 per car, with a six-passenger maxium, and tickets are available via BigTickets.com. Social distancing restrictions will be enforced on the grounds.
