Eminem is dealing with musical issues both new and old this week.

The Detroit rapper has teamed with Kid Cudi for a new collaborative song, "The Adventures of Moon Man and Slim Shady," expected to be released on Friday, July 10. The announcement was made on Twitter with a video from Cudi's daughter Vada Wamwene Mescudi.

Cudi has also released a trailer for his new HBO series "We Are Who We Are," which will debut during September.

The track follows Eminem's latest album, "Music to Be Murdered By," which came out during January and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Meanwhile, Eminem's music publishing company Eight Mile Style is suing the Harry Fox Agency for allegedly conspiring with Spotify to shortchange him on royalties for his songs. Eminem sued Spotify last August for infringing the copyrights to nearly 250 titles; HFA is a middleman that lines up licenses for digital and other platform to use artists' material. The suit alleges that Eminem has other payment issues with HFA dating back a decade.

Eight Mile Style is currently awaiting a response from HFA, while the Spotify suit is ongoing.
