Detroit's Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre has formally postponed its summer 2020 season -- with an eye towards the summer of 2021.

The riverfront venue, formerly Chene Park Amphitheatre, has confirmed that 16 of its on-sale shows have confirmed they'll reschedule for next year, incuding: Sheila E. and Monica Blaire; Maxwell; the Isley Brothers and Chaka Khan; Jonathan Butler, Rick Braun and Tim Bowman; Jeezy and T.I.; Tower of Power; Avery Sunshine and Mike Phillips; Gerald Albright, Kim Waters and Kayla Waters; Kirk Whalum and Keiko Matsui; PJ Morton and BJ the Chicago Kid; Najee, Alex Bugnon and Latoya London; Christian Scott, Eric Roberson and Mumu Fresh; Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle; Will Downing and Lin Rountree; Incognito and Maysa; and Joss Stone and Macy Gray.

Fans are being asked to hold on to their tickets until new dates are announced. After that, per Ticketmaster policy, there will be a 30-day window for refunds.
