The novel coronavirus pandemic has scotched most anything traditionally associated with school graduations. But a group of celebrities is banding together to make some special things happen this weekend.

Former U.S. President Barack Obama will speak as part of "Graduate Together: America Honors the High School Class of 2020," airing simultaneously at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 16, on major TV networks and social media outlets. Obama will be joined by LeBron James, the Jonas Brothers, Pharrell Williams, Ben Platt, H.E.R., Bad Bunny, Malala Yousafzai and others. Details and updates at graduatetogether2020.com.

Also running at 2 p.m. Friday, May 15, is #Graduation2020 on Facebook Watch and Instagram with messages and performances by Oprah Winfrey, Miley Cyrus, Awkwafina, Jennifer Garner, Lis Nas X, Simone Biles and others. Visit About.FB.com.

And at noon on Friday, May 15, HerCampus.com commences "I'm Still Graduating" with more than 50 notables taking part -- including Andrew Yang, Billie Jean King, Eva Longoria, Kenneth Cole, Margaret Cho, Teyana Taylor and more, and musical performances by Liam Payne, Jesse McCartney, Grouplove, Austin Mayhone and others. Catch the festivities at imstillgraduating.com and HerCampus.com's social media.
