A day after asserting otherwise, Broadway in Detroit is canceling the remaining performances of "Fiddler on the Roof" at Detroit's Fisher Theatre through Sunday, March 15.

The company had said on Thursday, March 12, that the show would go on in the face of COVID-19 concerns. It changed its mind "due to coronavirus safety and security concerns and the direction of local and state government recommendations."

Refunds will be made at the point of purchase, or via Ticketmaster and the Fisher's theater and group sales department.

Broadway in Detroit says that it's other productions -- including "Dear Evan Hansen," opening March 25 -- "will go on as scheduled."
