Bob Seger may be off the road, but he can still be found -- on YouTube.
The Detroit rock icon has launched his own Official Artist Channel at noon Friday, Jan. 10, with a lyric video for his 1976 hit "Night Moves." The clip features a variety of animated and static images related to the song's lyrics, including the closing "uh-huhs" and a stitched patch embroidered with the name of Seger and his Silver Bullet Band.
The new channel also features previously released videos, while the announcement promises it will "premiere rare and classic Seger music videos restored for the first time in HD, and...custom playlists of Seger's catalog in HD quality audio, fan generated videos, as well as rare and unreleased content." There is also a Community page for fans to share stories.
The YouTube channel comes in the wake of Seger's North American farewell tour, which played 72 shows during 2018-19 and ended Nov. 1 in Philadelphia. There have been rumors about overseas dates but no official announcement yet.
