The Meadow Brook Hall visit by "Antiques Roadshow" will kick off the popular PBS TV show's new season this week.
The program drew 2,848 people during June of 2017 to Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester Hills to have their heirlooms appraised by the show's experts; Among the highlights were an early 17th century William Blaeu world map, a signed Jimmy Hoffa memoir and a painted wardrobe trunk used by Motown's Temptations.
The Meadow Brook episodes debut at 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, and also air on Jan. 14 and 21.
This marks "Antiques Roadshow's" 23rd season, during which it's been nominated for 16 Emmy Awards. Other stops during teh season include the Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, Fla., Churchill Downs Racetrack in Louisville, Ky., and the historic Hotel del Coronado in San Diego.
