The Racounteurs, an all-star band formed 13 years ago in Detroit, is beginning a comeback this week.

The group -- featuring Jack White and fellow Detroiter Brendon Benson, along with Greenhornes members Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler -- will release two new songs, "Sunday Driver" and "Now That You're Gone," on Wednesday, Dec. 19. The tracks are slated for the Raconteurs' first new album since 2008, which is due out next year, and will also be featured on a bonus seven-inch single included in a 10th anniversary reissue of that last album, "Consolers of the Lonely," being released by White's Third Man Records.

The Raconteurs has been on hiatus since 2010, with White focusing on his solo career as well as his other band, the Dead Weather, which also includes Lawrence. There's no word yet on tour plans to accompany the new album.
