A first-ever performance by the British electronic duo Orbital and Detroit rapper Danny Brown are among the first acts announced for next year's Movement Music Festival in Detroit's Hart Plaza.
The 20th annual edition of the Memorial Day weekend event will run may 25-27, with three-day passes now on sale via movement.us.
In addition to Orbital, making its first Detroit visit in nearly 20 years, and Brown, Movement's initial announcement also lists Floorplan (aka Robert Hood), DJ Bone, Hot Since 82, Amelie Lens, Chris Lake, DJ Nobu, Heiko Laux and Stephen Bodzin.
Movement plans to announce more 2019 acts early in the new year.
