Frankenmuth’s Greta Van Fleet has offered up the first taste of its upcoming new album.

Early Tuesday morning, July 17, the hard rocking quartet released “When The Curtain Falls,” a rhythmic, dynamic and psychedelic-tinged track built on a muscular groove. Frontman Josh Kiska’s waiting vocals still hew impressively close to Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant but take on a slightly more metallic edge during parts of the song.

GVF distributed “When The Curtain Falls” via its social media on Tuesday; It can be heard HERE The song will be part of the group’s first full-length album -- the follow-up to 2017’s double EP “From The Fires.” No title or release date have been announced yet.

GVF, which is currently on tour in North America, recorded the album in Royal Oak and Nashville. Though expectations for the set are high, guitarist Jake Kiszka said during the spring that, “I think we’re more excited than nervous, ‘cause there’s definitely a lot of stuff we want to do. We want to make a lot of records and put out a lot of music, and that keeps us focused and kind of grounded.

“Maybe there’s some minor pressure, ‘cause pressure’s always good, and always there. But moreso there’s excitement about what we’re gonna do next, and after that, and after that.”
