The Eagles are flying back for a return visit to home town of their late co-founder.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group will play on Oct. 14 at Detroit's Little Caesars Arena, with tickets going on sale at 10 a.m. March 2. This follows an appearance there last Oct. 27 which included several emotional tributes to Glenn Frey, the Royal Oak native who passed away during January of 2016.

Frey's place has been filled by his son Deacon, who sported a Detroit Tigers jersey at the concert, as well as Americana star Vince Gill.

The LCA show is part of a 52-date North American tour of arenas and stadiums that begins March 12 in Indianpolis and inlcudes a March 15 stop in Grand Rapids.
