Eminem has announced a Dec. 15 release date for his new album, “Revival,” ending weeks of teasing and speculation.
The date was announced via another fake ad for the faux drug Revival posted online on Tuesday, Nov. 28, with an actor saying that, “You’ve spent the past few weeks hearing about Revival and how you can treat moderate to severe Atrox Rithimus. Well, today I have great news for all of you suffering from AR” before going on to reveal that “Revival” is an album and not a medication.
The message “Revival is an album” also scrolls on a ticker across the bottom of the page.
Eminem previously teased “Revival” with another pharmaceutical-styled ad that ran in both print and online. “Revival” is his follow-up to 2013’s “the Marshall Mathers LP 2” in 2013.
The rapper has released a single from the set -- “Walk On Water,” featuring Beyonce -- which he performed on the Nov. 18 episode of “Saturday Night Live.”
