Tributesville series launches in new Waterford home

The Tributesville concert series begins a new era this week in Waterford.

Created and operated by Todd Stoney, drummer in the Bob Seger tribute band Lookin’ Back, the series opens a new venue, the Strip Mall Concert Hall, at 5050 Dixie Highway in Waterford, at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7. A dozen Thursday night shows are booked so far through Nov. 30, featuring tributes to Steely Dan (Major Dudes), Bruce Springsteen (the Boss Revue), Amy Winehouse (Amy’s Rehab), Pink Floyd (In The Flesh) andmore.

A second Tributesville location is currently under construction at 1450 Hospital Road in Waterford and is expected to open during October.

Tickets for the shows on Dixie Highway are $23 in advance, $25 at the door and available via NEPTIX.com. For more information about the Tributesville series visit Tributesville.com.
