Planning to line up or log on for Bob Seger tickets this weekend?

In the words of Tony Soprano, fahgedaboutit.

Seger posted a message on his official web site (bobseger.com) on Wednesday night that his Sept. 9 show at the DTE Energy Music Theatre sold out completely during a special fan club pre-sale. The concert was billed as “one night only,” but the post adds that, “We are working on securing another show in the area to help meet the overwhelming fan demand. Details will be announced as soon as available.”

The show -- which was slated to go on sale to the general public on Saturday, May 20 -- will be Seger’s 27th at the amphitheatre, and his 26th sellout. It’s his first at DTE since a tour-closing performance on June 21, 1996. So far it’s the only concert Seger has announced for 2017.
