Big Sean's new album, "I Decided," pops out Friday, Feb. 3.
And so does a pop-up store dedicated to the West Bloomfield-based rapper -- in his home town.
The shop, at 1441 Woodward Ave., in downtown Detroit, will be one of four Big Sean is opening for the weekend. The others will be in New York, Los Angeles and Toronto. All will feature new T-shirts, hats, hoodies and other articles of clothing and merchandise. The actual album, however, is being released digitally for the first week, with CDs expected out on Feb. 10.
Big Sean himself is expected to appear at the New York and Toronto stores but not in Detroit -- where he premiered the album on Sunday, Jan. 29, at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit.
Hours for the pop-up store are 5-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 3-4, and noon-6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5.
Big Sean will be performing April 1 at Detroit's Fox Theatre as part of his tour supporting "I Decided."
