Bon Jovi fans were surprised and disappointed when the announcement of the group's This House Is Not For Sale Tour did not include a Detroit area date.
Now that's changed. The New Jersey troupe has added several dates to the itinerary, including a March 29 stop at Joe Louis Arena. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Dec. 10 at the box office and via LiveNation.com. There will also be pre-sales for the Bon Jovi Fan Club and American Express cardholders.
The tour takes its name from Bon Jovi's new album, which came out Nov. 4 and was the group's fourth consecutive No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200. The trek kicks off Feb. 8 in Greenville, S.C. Bon Jovi has sold more than 130 million albums worldwide and performed more than 2,800 concerts, drawing more than 35 million fans in 50 countries.
Bon Jovi last played the metro area on July 18, 2013 at Detroit's Ford Field.
