Green Day's Detroit area fans will get a chance to see the band -- a month after it previously planned to play here.
The group has announced an Oct. 24 make-up date at the Fillmore Detroit for the Sept. 24 show that was one of three postponed due to an illness that swept through the band and crew. It also forced Green Day to entirely cancel a preformance during the World Hockey Championship in Toronto.
Tickets for the original date will be honored. Refunds for those who can't attend will be made at the point of purchase.
Green Day kicks off the tour Monday (Sept. 26) in Columbus, Ohio. It's new album, "Revolution Radio," comes out October 7.
