The Palace adds big shows to fall schedule

With the summer concert season nearing its end, the Palace of Auburn Hills has added a pair of major concert pairings to its fall lineup.

R&B stars Maxwell and Mary J. Blige will bring their King and Queen of Hearts World Tour, with Ro James opening, on Nov. 18. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, at the box office, Ticketsmaster and online.

Maxwell and Blige will be appearing on ABC's "The View" on Friday as well to talk about the tour.

Meanwhile, Stevie Nicks and the Pretenders are teaming up for a tour of their own, which will play Nov. 27 at the Palace. Tickets for that show go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, at the box office, Ticketmaster and online.
