News:
Insane Clown Posse plans on march on Washington in 2017
Insane Clown Posse has Washington, D.C., on its 2017 itinerary.
And it's not going just to spray some Faygo around the city.
The Farmington Hills-based rap duo announced during its Gathering of the Juggalos festival over the weekend that it will "march" on the capitol city next September 17 to protest the FBI classification of its fans as "a loosely organized hybrid gang." The march will start at the Lincoln Memorial and finish at the Washington Monument on the National Mall, with a free ICP concert at a Jiffy Lube in nearby Bristow, Va. during the same weekend.
"We are going to explain to the world who the...we really are," ICP's Violent J said during a fan forum at the Gathering. "They call the Juggalo world a movement, right? Well, let's move! We don't know what's going to happen; We could totally embarrass ourselves, and there could be 25 people."
ICP and the Juggalos have been fighting the gang designation since 2011. The group has sued the FBI in federal court; The case is still pending.
