Kanye West is bringing his Saint Pablo Tour to the Detroit area for not one but two shows.
The 22-time Grammy Award-winning rapper's first North American road trip in three years will stop Sept. 28 at Detroit's Joe Louis Arena, then return on Oct. 6 to play at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Tickets for both shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at the box offices, livenation.com and Ticketmaster.
West last performed in the area when his Yeezus Tour stopped at the Palace on Dec. 19, 2013.
The tour is promoting West's latest album, "The Life of Pablo," which came out Feb. 14 and was not only his seventh consecutive No. 1 album but also the first album in history to debut at the top of the Billboard 200 chart on streaming play only. The Saint Pablo Tour starts Aug. 25 in Indianapolis and will play 40 cities before finishing Oct. 29 in Las Vegas.
