The highway to hell is returning to the Palace of Auburn Hills in September.
Rockers AC/DC will perform Sept. 9 at the arena, making up a March 20 Rock Or Bust Tour date that was postponed when frontman Brian Johnson was ordered off the road by doctors over hearing issues. Guns N' Roses' Axl Rose, currently touring with AC/DC in Europe, will be with the group for the 10 U.S. dates, which commence Aug. 27 in Greensboro, N.C.
Tickets for the March 20 show will be honored, and remaining seats are now on sale at the Palace box office or via palacenet.com, livenation.com or Ticketmaster.com.
AC/DC last performed in the area last Sept. 8 at Detroit's Ford Field during the first North American leg of the tour. Rose, meanwhile, will be playing Ford Field on June 23 when Guns N' Roses kicks off its own Never In This Lifetime Tour at the stadium.
