Drake, Fifth Harmony add summer shows

Missed out on tickets to Drake's Aug. 16 show at Joe Louis Arena?

There's a second chance now -- three weeks earlier at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

The chart-topping Canadian rapper has announced a second metro area stop on his Summer Sixteen Tour with Future, taking place July 28 the Aug. 16 Joe Louis show sold out and sandwiched between dates in Chicago and Drake's home town of Toronto. It's one of 15 new dates Drake added to the tour on Friday, May 20.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. May 26, with an American Express cardholder pre-sale starting Monday, May 23.

Drake is riding a streak of four consecuitve No. 1 albums, including "Views," which came out April 29. He's nominated for 10 Billboard Music Awards, which will be presetned on Sunday, May 22, during a ceremony airing at 8 p.m. on ABC (WXYZ, Channel 7 in Detroit).

Also announced Friday was a show by pop group Fifth Harmony, playing Aug. 13 at the Meadow Brook Amphitheatre. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. May 27.
