If summer's coming then Eddie Money must be coming to town.
The veteran rocker and perennial favorite will make his annual early-season appearance on May 27 at the DTE Energy Music Theatre, with son Dez Money & the Faze and Crashing Cairo opening the show. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 12, priced $34.50 pavilion, $10 lawn.
It's a rare year when Money isn't the season opener at DTE, however. The honor this year goes to country star Dierks Bentley, who plays on May 22.
Other new arrivals on the summer schedule this week include:
Melissa Etheridge, June 23 at SoundBoard in the MotorCity Casino Hotel. Tickets are $42-$60 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 11.
311's Unity Tour 2016 with Matisyahu, July 12 at the Freedom Hill Amphitheatre. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 11.
Rob Zombie, Korn and In This Moment, Aug. 21 at DTE. Tickets also go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 11.
