Oakland County-raised electronic artist GRiZ is coming home for the holidays again.
And this time he's spendig some quality time in the metro area.
With his second annual GriZmas concert sold out Dec. 19 at Detroit's Masonic Temple, GRiZ -- born Grant Kwiecinski in Southfield and a graduate of Birmingham Groves High School -- has announced 12 Days of GriZmas, a series of events that will raise money for Little Kids Rock, a non-profit organization that provides free music education to under-served public schools in the U.S.
The festivities begin Dec. 8 with a charity sale, and subsequent events include a visit to Detroit Dog Rescue, a coat drive, yoga, a day spent feeding the homeless, a beer tasting at Roak Brewery in Royal Oak, a night of GRiZmas carols, a warehouse party at a secret location and a Night Before GRiZmas party at Populux in Detroit's Midtown area.
