Paul McCartney is getting back to Detroit this fall.
The former Beatle will bring his ongoing Out There Tour to town on Oct. 21 at Detroit's Joe Louis Arena. Tickets will be priced $29.50-$253 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31, at the box office and Ticketmaster locations as well as via, Olympiaentertainment.com, LiveNation.com and Ticketmaster.com, or by phone at 800-745-3000.
A pre-sale for American Express Card holders begins at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27 and ends at 10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30.
McCartney will also be performing Oct. 13 in Columbus, Ohio, and on Oct. 17 in Toronto. He last played the metro area on July 24, 2011 at Comerica Park, and this year he and his band have played dates in Japan, South Korea, Europe and North America -- including the Firefly and Lollapalooza festivals in Delaware and Chicago, respectively.
McCartney will be releasing two more Archive Collection packages on October 2 -- expanded editions of 1982's "Tug of War" and 1983's "Pipes of Peace."
