Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band will make a rare television appearance tonight on The LATE SHOW with David Letterman. This will be Seger’s second appearance on the show.
Seger and his Silver Bullet Band have received rave reviews on their 2014 / 2015 Ride Out Tour which kicked off November 19th in Saginaw. Performing to capacity crowds in Boston, Cleveland, Chicago and the upcoming show at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Friday, Dec. 19, which will close the 2014 leg of the tour. The trek resumes Jan. 20 in Toledo, and Detroit area dates are expected to be announced soon.
Seger & The Silver Bullet Band continue to reinforce their reputation as among the best live bands in the rock era, prompting Jeff Daniels to Tweet: “Witnessed Bob Seger and the SBB in Grand Rapids last night. If the Arena were a space ship, we’d have launched. Wow.”

Seger’s RIDE OUT album recently entered the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart at #3, marking Seger’s highest debut ever on the chart. Seger’s long term relationship with his fans is mirrored by his long time relationship with his label, Capitol Records, who recently announced that Seger is the longest-tenured solo artist in the storied history of the label.
