Uppity Blueswoman Headlines Fundraising Show

Ann Rabson of Saffire — the Uppity Blues Women, comes to Ann Arbor this weekend to take part in Sunday’s Farmfest Benefit, a fund-raiser for the annual Farmfest concert near Gaylord. Rabson will be joined by local groups Mustard’s Retreat, Steppin’ In It with Rachael Davis and harmonica virtuoso Peter “Madcat” Ruth at 7 p.m. Sunday at The Ark, 316 S. Main St., Ann Arbor.

Presented by the nonprofit Farmhouse Music Organization, this year’s Farmfest takes place Aug. 9-12 and will feature headliners such as Dick Siegel, Matt Watroba, Jeremy Kittel, the Blue Water Ramblers and the Ragbirds. Information about the festival can be found at www.farmhousemusic.org.
