Detroit rock group Sponge is launching a PledgeMusic campaign on Sunday, April 6, to fund a summer concert tour that will also include a benefit for Macomb County's Eastside Teen Outreach charity. Premiums for the 90-day drive, which has a $25,000 goal, include autographed copies of the group's upcoming "Rotting Alive" concert CD, a chance to record a song with Sponge, private in-home shows, handwritten lyrics, personalized music dedications, guitar lessons and the chance to smash a guitar on stage. Sponge is playing several out-of-Michigan shows during April and plans to announce its summer itinerary soon.
