Detroit Jazz Festival Youth Vocalist competition winner Re'Vana Stanfield will have her coming out on Friday, Aug. 23, at the Detroit Divas Sing, Sing, Sing! concert being held at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores.
Stanfield, a recent graduate of the Detroit School of the Arts, is a member of the 2012-13 Detroit Public Schools Detroit Jazz Festival All-City Jazz Ensemble and was named the Youth Vocalist winner on Aug. 8 at the Dirty Dog in Grosse Pointe. She'll be attending Clark University in Atlanta this fall.
Stanfield won't be the only diva singing on Friday. Ursula Walker, Jeannine Course-Miller and Barbara Ware are also on the bill, along with Detroit trumpet legend Johnny Trudell and his orchestra.
