Blues fest rolls into Canterbury Village

Canterbury Village in Lake Orion will have this blues this weekend when the Detroit Blues Society's 7th Annual Blues and BBQ Festival takes place there form noon-11 p.m. on Saturday, July 20.

Greg Nagy, the Broken Arrow Blues Band, the Dirty Basement Blues Band, Heather Jones & Jones'n', Big Smooth & the Hellraisers and Sweet Willie Tea will all perform, while Mark Pasman, host of "The Motor City Blues Project" Sunday nights on WCSX-FM will guest with the Boa Constrictors.

Canterbury Village is located at 2369 Joslyn Court. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the gate, free for 12 and under. Visit www.hotbluesandbbq.com.
