Palace Sports & Entertainment is ushering in its summer season with special giveaways and a refreshed web site.
With the DTE Energy Music Theatre set to open May 19 with country star Tim McGraw, the company is re-launching its www.Palacenet.com web site on Friday, May 10. And to start the celebration of the Palace of Auburn Hills' upcoming 25th anniversary in August, the company will hold a 25 For 25 Summer Celebration #Palace 25 giveaway campaign, offering free tickets to fans between May 11-June 3 via the web site.
PS&E so far has 59 events booked at its three venues -- the Palace, DTE and the Meadow Brook Music Festival -- between now and the end of September. Highlights include seven Kid Rock shows during August at DTE, the first Michigan Beerfest on June 15 at DTE, the inaugural U.S. version of the Australasian St. Jerome's Laneway Festival on Sept. 14 at Meadow Brook and Palace appearances by New KIds on the Block with 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men (June 8), Bruno Mars (July 11), One Direction (July 12), Beyonce (July 20) and the Eagles (Sept. 21).
PS&E is also promoting the Bon Jovi/J. Geils Band show on July 18 at Detroit's Ford Field.
