Detroit acts band together for New York record label

A number of Detroit acts, including R&B veteran Geno Washington and rockers the Hentchmen, will band together on Saturday, March 2, in a benefit for Norton Records, the New York independent record label whose headquarters and warehouse were severely damaged by superstorm Sandy.

Bloodshot Bill, Dan Kroha, Mark "BBQ" Sultan, the Shanks and Jimmy Ohio & the Ultimate Lovers will also perform at the Corktown Tavern, 1716 MIchigan Ave., Detroit.
