It'll be awhile before we see Lady Gaga around these parts again.
Two days after postponing four shows on her Born This Way Ball tour -- including a Saturday, Feb. 16 date at the Palace of Auburn Hills -- Live Nation Global Touring has confirmed that the rest of the tour has been canceled outright. The company said that additional tests for what was reported to be sinovitis -- an extreme swelling around the joints -- in her leg have determined Gaga has a labral tear of her right hip. She'll undergo surgery to correct the problem and be sidelined for an undetermined amount of time. The move scotches 21 shows on the tour, which was scheduled to wrap up March 20 in Tulsa, Okla.
Refunds will be made at point of purchase.
The Born This Way Ball,. which began last April in South Korea, had so far played to more than 1.6 million fans, grossing a reported $168 million.
