It looks like a new Eminem album is coming next year.
The Detroit rapper appears to have leaked the news in an unconventional manner -- on a new baseball cap he's selling via his official web site.
The knockoff of the Detroit Tigers' familiar cap, with a different treatment of the Olde English D, features a list of Landmark Eminem Solo Albums on its side, listing the years of his seven previous releases -- and 2013. Eminem is constantly working in his Ferndale studio, and the new set will follow 2010's "Recovery," which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and has sold more than eight million copies worldwide.
Eminem also released a collaborative album, "Hell: The Sequel," with fellow rapper Royce Da 5'9" in 2011. He also appears on the track "Here Comes the Weekend" from "The Truth About Love," the new album by pop singer P!nk, that came out in September and was actively involved as a producer and guest performer on "Welcome To: Our House" by the rap all-star group Slaughterhouse, which was released by Eminem's Shady Records label.
No further details have been released about an Eminem album in 2013. The baseball cap is priced at $30, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Marshall Mathers Foundation.
