The Crofoot's Creepy Cheapy Halloween Treat, an annual highlight for the Detroit area music scene, returns this year for a fifth time, with more local artists dressing up and playing as somebody else.

This year's lineup includes Bars of Gold as Bruce Springsteen, Deastro as disco producer Giorgio Moroder, Citizen Smile as Katy Perry, a consortium of Illy Mack, Destroy This Place, Jamaican Queens and Estuaries as Led Zeppelin, Lauren Deming as Fleetwood Mac and more. Even the DJs are getting into the act, with Ryan Spencer channeling Skrillex and Andrew Remdenok playing Aphex Twin.

Also returning is the annual Candy Eating Contest of Doom.

The Creepy Cheapy Halloween Treat V takes place Friday, Oct. 25, at the Crofoot Ballroom, 1 S. Saginaw St., Pontiac. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 basic, $15 enhanced (includes a separate entrance and commemorative poster). Call 248-858-9333 or visit www.thecrofoot.com.
