* The hard rock trio the Fake Take tops a bill that includes fellow Detroiters Wireless G and I Love Lightning Bugs and Cleveland's Suede Brothers on Friday, April 6, at the Magic Bag, 22920 Woodward Ave., Ferndale. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $8.

* Jazz guitarist, bandleader and composer A. * WCSX "Motor City Blues Project" host Mark Pasman will hold a Paz Man SuperSession on Saturday, April 7, at the Berkley Front, 3087 W. Twelve Mile Road. The troupe -- which includes members of Mitch Ryder's Band, Jeanne & the Dreams, Free Beer and special guests -- will play in honor of Tim Hunt, a Berkley resident and music scene regular who recently passed away from complications of Crone's disease.
