Bob Seger has something new coming out this fall -- and it's not his own predicted new album.
The Detroit rocker will be a special guest on John Fogerty's "Wrote a Song For Everyone," a duets set reprising his Creedence Clearwater Revival classics. Seger, who previously covered CCR's "Fortune Son" as a B-side in 1986, will join Fogerty for "Who'll Stop the Rain."
Foo Fighters, My Morning Jacket and country artists Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert and Alan Jackson will also appear on the set. A full track list and release date are expected to be announced soon.
Seger, meanwhile, is continuing to work on a new studio album, which he's said he hopes to finish in September for a late fall release.
