For the second year, the folks who organize Record Store Day in April have made Black Friday a hook for bringing people into independent music outlets -- with just as many cool exclusives as its spring counterpart.
Among the notable titles that are part of this year's Back to Black Friday campaign are: a four-disc vinyl singles set from the Doors' "L.A. Woman" album, including unreleased material; a box set of four Beatles viny singles; a "John Lennon 'Imagine' 40th Anniversary Box Set" with white vinyl and a poster; a Rolling Stones' vinyl single sporting the unreleased "No Spare Parts" from the "Some Girls" sessions; and releases from the Beastie Boys, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, the Yardbirds, the Byrds, the Lovin' Spoonful, Bob Dylan, Kings of Leon, Janis Joplin, Brendan Benson, Matisyahu, Tom Petty, Wilco, Ryan Adams and more.
