The late musician, songwriter and fledgling filmmmaker Spencer Bell will be honored with a Spencer Bell Legacy Weekend at Callahan's Music Hall, 2105 South Blvd., Auburn Hills. On Friday, Oct. 21, organizers will screen the film "Girlfriend" at 3 p.m. to raise money for the University of Michigan Adrenal Cancer Research Program, while a Spencer Bell Legacy Jam begins at 6:30 p.m. On Saturday, Oct. 22, the Stevedores, Tin Tin Can, Toy Bombs and others will take part in the Annual Spencer Bell Legacy Concert, which begins at 4 p.m. Call 248-858-9508 or visit www.atcallahans.com for additional details.



Macomb County country up-and-comer Paulina Jayne will be part of a Pinktober bill raising money for the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute taking place at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at the Hard Rock Cafe Detroit, 45 Monroe St. in the Compuware World Headquarters building. Popular local singer-songwriter Stewart Francke, continuing to promote his latest release "Heartless World," goes small venue with a show at 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, at the Trinity House Theatre, 38840 W.
