— Craig Carrick, organizer and host of one of the metro area’s most ambitious and popular house concert series before his recent battle will cancer, will himself be the beneficiary of a show taking place from 2-11 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, at the Oxford American Legion Hall, 130 E. Drahner Road. Performers include the Jill Jack Band, Barbara Payton, Dick Siegel, the Milroys, the Marvins, Rachael Davis & Dominic John and more. Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 at the door. — Alexander Zonjic & Friends return to Auburn Hills on Friday, Sept. 30, at Callahan’s Music Hall, 2105 South Blvd. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15. The flutist and his crew then head to the Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe in Grosse Pointe Farms for a second engagement running Wednesday, Oct. 4, through Oct. 8.
