Popular local groups such as Ty Stone, Goober & the Peas, the Look, SRC and Annabelle Road will rock the Royal Oak Music Theatre during Labor Day weekend for this year's 14th annual Arts, Beats & Eats festival.
They'll be joined for Cool Events at the ROMT by national acts such as Willie Nelson's son Lukas Nelson and Oklahoma's Taddy Porter, as well as a Footloose Dance Party during the afternoon of Sept. 3 judged by Craig Brewer, writer/director of the upcoming "Footloose" remake -- which opens Oct. 14, and one of the film's stars Kenny Wormald.
The theater events will be free and open to the public. And besides beats, the Royal Oak will host works from 18 Michigan artists in its lobby, as well as eats from Big Mike's Southwestern Grill.
