Detroit rock 'n' roll icons Bob Seger and Kid Rock will share a bill for the first time ever at a Florida festival in November.

Seger and his Silver Bullet Band and Rock and his Twisted Brown Trucker group will perform on Nov. 13 on the second day of the Orlando Calling Festival at the city's Citrus Bowl football stadium, with Seger and company closing the show. It marks the first time the two have played on the same show with their own bands, though they've guested at each other's concerts, and on each other's albums, previously.

Orlando Calling will also feature the first U.S. show in three years by the Killers, as well as performances by the Doobie Brothers, the Pixies, the Roots, O.A.R., the Avett Brothers, the Raconteurs -- who are also playing the inaugural MI Fest on Sept. 17 at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn -- and more. It's the first U.S. festival produced by Festival Republic, the British firm that puts on a number of major European events each summer.

Orlando Calling is the first announced stop on Seger's fall tour; more are expected soon. It's also a rare stadium and festival show for Seger, who usually eschews such circumstances; the last time he played a similar booking was before 45,000 fans at the Toledo Speedway Jam on July 3, 1983, on a bill that also included Foghat, Loverboy and Quarterflash.

Rock, meanwhile, is currently on tour with Sheryl Crow and plays Aug. 12-13 at Detroit's Comerica Park, with Sammy Hagar opening.

Tickets for Orlando Calling go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday [July 23] at www.orlandocalling.com or by calling Ticketmaster, 800-745-3000. Prices are $80 for single day tickets and $145 for both days, and $165/$285 for VIP seats and amenities. Prices are slated to increase after Aug. 31.
