Bob Seger was joined on stage by Kid Rock on Saturday night (April 2) in Grand Rapids.

Rock joined his fellow Detroit rocker for "Real Mean Bottle," the Vince Gill song the two recorded for Seger's 2006 album "Face the Promise." They performed it several times during Seger's 2006-07 tour, and Seger and his Silver Bullet Band played the song Thursday night (March 31) in Toledo in preparation for Rock's guest appearance on Saturday.

Seger also appears on Rock's latest album, 2010's "Born Free," playing piano on the track "Collide." Rock, meanwhile, sings on "Hannah," a song Seger has recorded for his upcoming next album.

The Seger tour continues Tuesday, April 5, in Cincinnati and comes home for shows May 17, 19 and 21 at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
