Tickets for Bob Seger's Palace show going on sale March 26

Bob Seger has announced sales information for the long-awaited Detroit stop on his spring concert tour.

Tickets for Seger's May 19 show at the Palace of Auburn Hills will go on sale Saturday, March 26, at the box office and Ticketmaster outlets and at Ticketmaster.com. It's the only announced home town concert of the tour so far, although more are expected to be added. The Detroit shows will be the final stops on the tour.

Seger and his Silver Bullet Band start things kicks off on March 26 in Toledo and has so far announced 24 shows, including a May 3 date in New Orleans that was also announced on Friday (March 11).

Seger recently released his version of Tom Waits' "Downtown Train" as the first taste of a new album he's working on for release later this year. He's also been rehearsing another new song, "Hey Gypsy."
