A new trio of Bob Seger tour dates still does not include a Detroit area stop but does bring him closer to home.
The new batch includes a May 14 show at Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, the latest concert so far on the tour, which currently starts March 26 in Toledo. Seger is expected to finish the tour at home in the Detroit metro area, likely in proximity to the Chicago shows.
Also announced on Thursday (Feb. 24) were shows April 15 in Seger's longtime stronghold of Boston and April 23 in Greensboro, N.C.. Tickets for all three of the new shows go on sale at 10 a.m. March 5.
The latest shows brings Seger's total to 14 so far, including Michigan stops in Saginaw (March 29) and Grand Rapids (April 2). Seger is also expected to release an album this year, although no details have been announced.
