* Metro area singer-songwriters Emily Rose, Patrick Davy, Jeremy Porter, Rachel Madison, Elise McCoy and Matt Dmits perform at Home For the Holidaze 8, a benefit for local homeless shelters, which takes place at 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, at the Corktown Tavern, 1716 Michigan Ave., Detroit.
